 Seit der Einführung
der modernen 6000 und 7000 Serie und später der 8000 Serie konnte
sich John Deere bei den Schleppern mehr und mehr gegen taditionelle deutsche
Marken durchsetzten. Das Interesse an Schleppern über 200 PS zeigt
dieser 8400. Obwohl Schlüter seit den 70ger Jahren Schlepper in dieser
Klasse anbot, erstaunt der Erfolg der G Serie von FIAT, des 900ter von
Fendt sowie der entsprechenen Deutz/Same/Lamborgini/Hürlimann Typen
in den 90gern.

succeed against traditional German brands. The interest on tractores over
200 hp documents this 8400. The Schlüter company offer tractors over
200 hp since the 70th. All the more is the success astonished of the FIAT
G series, of the Fendt 900 series and the corresponding types of Deutz/Same/Lamborgini/Hürlimann
in the 90th.
