 The today
DEUTZ-FAHR factory in Lauingen/Bavaria looks to a history of many changes.
KÖDEL & BÖHM made there threshing machines. Later they merge
with FAHR. From a fusion with the agro equipment taughter of KHD/ Cologne
DEUTZ-FAHR was founded. Combines with the experience of KÖLA and FAHR
were the priority in the factory. 1993 KHD sold his agro equipment
line to SAME and the protuction of the ultra modern Agrotron tractor was
shifted to Lauingen. This tractor sets standarts which you can find today
at many other brands. The workers in Lauingen look with melancholy to the
transfer of the combines manufacturing to the danish Dronningborg
company. But Lauingen gets some tractors typs who are made at his time
in Italy and he gets a central spare parts store of the SAME-DEUTZ-FAHR-Group.
