Wegen der Genauigkeit ihrer Vorhersagen gibt es über Wetterfrösche viele Witze. Aber auch bevor es Fernsehn und Radio gab, wußte man sich zu helfen. Man beobachtete das aktuelle Wetter und folgerte daraus das Zukünftige. Diese Bewölkung deutete man wie folgt: Ist der Himmel geschuppt wie ein Fisch, regnet es in 24 Stunden ganz gewiß. Vielleicht sieht man in diesem Fall zu viel blau hinter den Wolken, jedenfalls regnete es nach dieser Aufnahme nach 24 Stunden nur einige Tropfen.   
Because of the precision ot the forecasting there are many jokes  over weathermans. But also in the time before TV and radio, the people had a help. They watched the current weather and conclude the future. This clouds are where interpreded like following: Is the sky scaly like a fish, it will rain in 24 houres very sure (in German the text rhymes). May be there is to mutch blue behind the clouds, but 24 houres after this picture we get only a few drops.
