 Das niederbayerische
Hügelland zwischen den Alpen und der Donau ist das Ergebnis der Eiszeit
mit seinen Gletschern und den abfließenden Wassern. An manchen Stellen
hinterließ es so steile Flächen, daß man sie auch heute
nur als Grünland nutzen kann. Für den Landwirt sind sie eine
Wirtschaftserschwernis, für die Kinder ein toller Schlittenberg im
Winter.
 The hilly county of Lower
Bavaria between the Alps and the Danube is the work the ice age with his
glaciers and his running off waters. On a few places they leave so steep
terrain, that it can only be used till today as grassland. For the farmer
it is a burden but for the children it is a fantastic sled slope in the
winter.
