 Aufgabe so eines
Maschine ist es dem Mais kurz, aber nicht zu kurz, zu hächseln und
jedes Korn anzuschlagen. Der Rindermagen muß sich dann nicht mehr
so anzustrengen und auch die Körner werden alle verdaut.
 The job of such an forage
harvester is to chopp the corn short, but not to short, and to hurt every
seed. So the cattle stomach must not work to hard and also the seed will
be digest totaly.
