Ed W. aus Ohio/USA mailte mir dieses Bild von der Soyabohnenernte Ende November: Die Saat erfolgte am 9. Mai - ohne Bodenbearbeitung nach Mais. Pythium (bei uns z.B. Wurzelbrand der Zuckerrübe) vernichtete den Bestand und am 19 Juni säten wir noch einmal. Das Feld brachte 49 bu per acre (ca. 25 dt/ha), sehr gut für diesen, Clermont Silt Loam (Schwemmland aus schweren blauen (?) Lehm) von dem Wasser schlecht abläuft und der weninger als 1 % organischer Substanz hat. 
Ed W. from Ohio mailed me this picture and he wrote: These soybeans were planted notill with a John Deere 750 drill on May 9. Pythium killed half the stand and we spot planted June 19. The field made 49 bu per acre, very good for this flat, poorly drained, low fertiliity Clermont Silt Loam. Organic Matter is less than one percent and we just picked up this farm.
