 Die Wanderwege
zu den Gipfel und Seen säumen in den Alpen oft steile Berghänge,
von denen im Winter Lawinen donnern. Erst jetzt schmelzen diese dahin und
schon wächst Gras unter ihnen, auf daß Kühen bereits warten.
 The hiking trail to the
mountain top and seas in the Alps are often skirted by steep slopes. In
the winter avalanche thundering down from them. Only now they are melting
and already gras is growing under them. The cows on the alpin pastures
are waiting right from it.
