 Oft bezeichnet
man intensiv genutzte landw. Gebiete als Kultursteppe. Für das Gebiet
des Gäubodens, der Donauebene um Straubing, gehen selbst Experten
davon aus, daß es mal eine Grassteppe war. Im Umkehrschluß
heist dies, daß die meisten Bäume und Stäucher dort gegen
die Natur und von Menschenhand wachsen.
 Often intensiv farmland
is called "farming steppe"(=created by over-cultivation). For the Gäuboden
area, the Danube plain arround Straubing, experts, believe that, it was
once a grasland. Than the conclusion is, that most of the trees and bushes
are growing their contrary to nature and from the hand of man.
