 In der Bibel gelten
Dornen und Disteln als was besonders lästiges auf dem Acker. Die Entdecker
des späten Mittelalters brachten uns aus der Neuen Welt die Artischocke,
eine essbare Distel. Die im Bild ist dem Kochtopf entronnen und bedanke
sich dafür im Sommer mit einer wunderschönen blau-violetten Blüte.
Jetzt im Herbst löst sie sich auf in einzellne Samen, gleich den Funken
einer Feuerwerksrakete.
 In the holy Bible thron

thistle. That in the pictures escaped the saucepan and thanked with a wunderful
blue violet flower in the summer. Now in the fall she dissolved in single
seeds like the sparks of and fireworks roket.
