 Vor 2000 Jahren
erstreckte sich das römische Reich rund um´s Mittelmeer. Bei
uns war die Donau die Grenze zu den wilden Germanen. Was für die heutige
Truppenbewegung der Amerikaner die Galaxy und für die Russen die Antonov
darstellt, war für die Römer schilcht der Fußmarsch. Im
Rahmen der experimentellen Geschichte marschierten einige "Römer"
400 km von Wien nach Regensburg und machten auch halt in Straubing (= Sorbiodurum
zur Römerzeit). Im Bild erklärt der Centauro (= Anführer)
die Bedeutung der Römer für Straubing und sein Umland.

ruled around the Mediteranien Sea. Here the Danube was the border to the
wild Teutons. What for today troop movement of the Americans the Galaxy
and for the Russian the Antonov is, was for the Romans the simple march.
Within the scope of experimenatl history a few "Romas" walked 250 miles
from Vienna to Regensburg and make also a stop in Strabuing (Sorbiodurum
in the Roman age). In the picture, the Centauro (= commander) explain the
importance of the romans for Straubing and his surrounding.
