 Wasser weiß
immer wohin es bergab geht. Ohne Pflanzenbewuchs fließt mehr Wasser
bergab und es nimmt Erde mit hinunter. Auch die Kartoffelfelder sind betroffen.
Hauptsächlich im Winter aber auch vor Reihenschluß. Die abfrierende
Zwischenfurcht schützt während des Winters und die Mulchreste
halten die Dämme besser zusammen. Einbißchen so wie die Armierung
im Beton.
 Water always know where
downhill is. Without a plant cover more water runs downhill and take also
soil along down. Also potato fields are concerned. Mostly in winter but
also before the the leaves fill the rows. A freezing cover crop protects
in the winter and the mulch hold the hills together like the reinforcement
in concrete.
